LG’s first UltraGear Gaming Laptop series starts off with a bang

LG’s first UltraGear Gaming Laptop series starts off with a bang

When we approach vacation, LG keeps the product express coming. On Friday, the company announced two OLED ultrafine’s monitors, but today, it turns out the focus is to play games with an ultragear game laptop expression. It has a difference to the first laptop game produced by the company, and seems to have specifications to make it a solid machine.

While LG reveals most of the specifications of Ultragear (17G90Q) laptops today, one thing remains a partial mystery for now: CPU. LG said that the laptop will be equipped with the 11th Lake-H Intel Core Tiger processor but stops from confirming the specific options that will be available. Prospective buyers may be able to choose between several different options, but it is stored under the Wraps for now.

It’s okay because the remaining specifications of ultragear gaming laptops are revealed today, and “BEASTLY” seems to be the best word to describe it. Ultragear gaming laptop uses NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 MAX-Q GPU, along with 16GB or 32GB of RAM. The fact that there are two RAM options strengthening the idea that the buyer will be able to choose from the CPU selection when the laptop released next year.

The display on this laptop sounds very important. It was at 17.3 inches, so it was quite large, and even though it was only a 1080p hit, it was also sports 300Hz refresh speed and covered 99% of the color gamut SRGB. If you are all about the high frame level in the PC game you are playing, that the 300Hz screen will help you achieve it, even though it might be a little excessive for most PC gamers.

LG also says the display has a response time of 1ms GTG, but the fine print in the LG announcement shows that this is the response time at 300Hz. Laptops are equipped with 1TB and double M.2 SSD slot storage, suggesting users can add more storage after buying. As you might have thought, it is also equipped with a RGB keyboard, with LG saying that users can adjust the lighting of each button through Ultragear Studio software.

LG Notes today that Ultragear Gaming Laptop borrowed several design cues from the company gram laptop, with a total thickness of 21.4 millimeters and weighing 5.82 pounds (2.64 kg). Meanwhile, of course not as light as the mainstream consumer laptop is possible, it is certainly lighter than some dedicated and high-powered gaming laptops out there.

Ultragear gaming laptop has an array of IO ports too, with a USB port 4 gene 3 × 2 type C (with USB PD-Out and Thunderbolt 4), USB 3.2 Gen 2 × 1 (USB PD-Out and DP), two USB 3.2 genes 2 × 1, Jack 4.5mm 4 pole, HDMI, and microSD slot. WIFI 6E via Intel Killer Wireless, two-way speakers that support DTS: X Ultra, and Full HD webcam complement other features to make impressive gaming laptops, at least on paper.

Unfortunately for us, LG made another announcement without telling us what was arguably the most important detail, because it had not revealed the price for the Ultragear game laptop. The company said it would be launched in the United States and South Korea in early 2022, so we had to wait until we were closer to the launch before we learned more about prices. However, even without concrete details, it is safe to expect ultragear gaming laptops into expensive machines considering the specifications expressed today, so be prepared to dig in this matter.
