Arrival Car ride-hailing EV prototype to begin testing next year
Ride-hiling with companies like Uber and others are very common throughout the US and in other parts of the world. Hailing-hailing companies are an alternative to traditional taxis sent through application users run on smartphones to bring trips directly wherever they are. In May this year, we talked about the announcement of arrival and Uber that they worked to build an electric vehicle specifically designed for uber drivers to use passengers.
The purpose of the project for arrival cars is to create the best vehicle to provide the best experience to drive customers. This vehicle is designed along with uber drivers who know what they need to provide the best experience to passengers. Arrival has announced the first prototype of an electric vehicle on schedule and will start testing on the new year.
Arrival is not a large automotive manufacturer like Ford or Chevrolet. Instead, it pioneered unique designs and production methods for affordable electric vehicles. Instead of relying on giant factories and supply chains, car arrives will be built by local micro. Automotive manufacturing is very difficult and requires skilled technology and workers to produce reliable vehicles and have consistent quality control.
The perfect example of small automotive manufacturers is small compared to Ford, Chevrolet, Honda or Toyota is Tesla. Tesla felt difficult to produce consistent vehicles from quality standards because the company has repeatedly developed to produce vehicles with highly varied quality control.
